How does the app work?
Stupid Correlations finds real statistical relationships between completely unrelated datasets. Using actual data from reputable sources, we calculate correlation coefficients and present them as if they prove causation (they don't). It's statistics meets comedy!
Are the correlations real?
The data is 100% real from sources like Our World in Data, government statistics, and academic research. The correlations are mathematically accurate. But do avocado sales really cause house prices to rise? No. That's the joke.
What's included in Premium?
Premium subscribers get:
- 100 generations per day (free tier: 5 per day)
- Animated video exports for social media
- No ads
- Priority support
How do I restore my purchase?
If you've already subscribed but the app isn't recognizing it:
- Make sure you're signed in with the same Apple ID / Google account used for the purchase
- Go to Settings in the app
- Tap "Restore Purchases"
- Wait a few seconds for verification
If it still doesn't work, contact us with your purchase receipt and we'll sort it out.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Subscriptions are managed by Apple or Google, not us. To cancel:
- iOS: Settings > Your Name > Subscriptions > Stupid Correlations > Cancel
- Android: Google Play Store > Menu > Subscriptions > Stupid Correlations > Cancel
You'll keep premium access until the end of your current billing period.
Can I request a refund?
Refunds are handled by Apple or Google since they process the payments:
- iOS: reportaproblem.apple.com
- Android: Google Play refund policy
The app is crashing. What should I do?
- Make sure you have the latest version from the App Store / Play Store
- Try closing and reopening the app
- Restart your device
- If problems persist, email us with your device model and iOS/Android version
My images aren't generating. Help!
Image generation requires an internet connection and may take a few seconds. If it's failing:
- Check your internet connection
- Try on WiFi instead of cellular data
- Wait a moment and try again (our servers might be busy)
Can I use the images commercially?
Yes! Images you generate are yours to use. Share them on social media, use them in presentations, or print them on a t-shirt. Just don't claim you invented the data or resell the app itself. See our Terms of Service for details.
